500×500mm Rental LED Screen for Church
Enova Series · 0.25 m² modular cabinets · Indoor and outdoor · 3,840Hz · Front service · P1.95–P4.81

Most churches do not need a screen built into the wall — they need a screen that can be a sanctuary backdrop on Sunday, a youth-event wall on Friday and a hire-out asset in between. The 500×500mm rental LED screen for church is built exactly for that: 7.6 kg die-cast aluminium cabinets that two people lock together by hand, one platform that ships in both IP30 indoor and IP65 outdoor versions, and 3,840Hz refresh so a phone camera or a broadcast camera sees a clean image instead of rolling bars.

  • 500×500×87mm cabinets at 7.6 kg — a 6 m × 3 m wall is 72 panels, buildable by two people without a crane
  • One cabinet family, two environments — indoor IP30 and outdoor IP65 builds use the same 250×250mm modules and flight-case logic
  • 3,840Hz refresh, 140°/120° viewing — no scan bars on live-stream or phone footage
  • Front or rear service in about 2 minutes with 8 magnets per module and one-stop power and signal

Quick Answers Before You Scroll

What is the Enova Series? A 500x500mm rental LED screen for church cabinet family with 250×250mm modules, 7.6 kg die-cast frames and 87mm depth, offered in indoor IP30 and outdoor IP65 versions from P1.95 to P4.81.

Why buy rental panels instead of a fixed wall? Because the screen has to move. Multi-use halls, mobile churches, youth events, Easter and Christmas staging, and churches that hire the screen to other congregations all need panels that pack into flight cases and rebuild in a different room.

Which pixel pitch should a church choose? P1.95 or P2.604 for a hall where the front row sits within 3–4 m; P2.976 for mixed seating; P3.91 or P4.81 for outdoor events and long viewing distances. Section below explains the rule.

Can one set of panels work indoors and outdoors? Not as a single purchase — the outdoor build is the IP65 version with different sealing and a higher-brightness module. They share modules, cabinets logic and control, but you should decide the split before you order.

How much does it cost? Cost follows area, pitch, indoor or outdoor version and control system, not a single sticker price. We quote against your actual size; the cost section explains the four variables that move the number.

Product definition

What a 500×500mm Rental Cabinet Actually Is

A rental LED cabinet is a self-contained square of screen that carries its own frame, power supply, receiving card, locking system and module retention. Each 500x500mm rental LED screen for church cabinet is 87mm deep, holds four 250×250mm modules in a 2×2 arrangement, and weighs 7.6 kg — a weight a single adult can lift onto a truss, and two people can carry in stacks.

What makes it a rental product rather than a fixed one is the connection design. Panels join through hardwired connections and quick locks instead of loose signal and power cables between every cabinet, which is where touring screens usually fail. Corner protection, positioning pins and handles are built into the casting, so the cabinet survives loading, transport and a volunteer installation team.

For a church, the practical consequence is simple: the same 0.25 m² panel that forms a 4 m × 2 m lyric wall in the sanctuary can be re-arranged into a 2 m × 3 m portrait backdrop for a youth night, and can be rented out or shared with a church plant in between.

Three Church Problems a Rental Screen Solves

Churches rarely buy rental panels for the reason event companies do. These three situations are the ones we see most often.

Problem 1

“Our hall is five rooms in one”

Sunday service, Wednesday youth, a wedding on Saturday, a conference in the summer. A fixed wall can only face one direction in one room. 500×500mm panels rebuild into a different shape and position for each event, and the frames survive being moved every week.

Problem 2

“We hire a screen twice a year and it is not cheap”

Event hire is priced per day and the money never becomes an asset. If your church hires for Easter, Christmas and a conference, owning a modest set of panels pays for itself over a few seasons and gives you first refusal on your own dates.

Problem 3

“Our install team is volunteers”

One-person quick locks, 7.6 kg cabinets and hardwired connections mean the screen does not need a rigging crew. A two-person team that has done it once can rebuild a 6 m × 3 m wall in a morning.

Engineering

Four Details That Decide Whether Rental Panels Survive Church Use

Hardwired connection instead of cable spaghetti

Each cabinet carries its signal and power connection inside the casting, so joining two panels is a mechanical action rather than a cable run. Fewer loose connectors means fewer intermittent tiles, and a fault usually traces to one cabinet instead of a harness. This is the single biggest difference between a screen that tours and a screen that gets re-installed twice a year and starts flickering.

Front or rear service in about two minutes

Modules are held by magnets and two positioning pins, so a dead module comes out from the front with a suction tool and goes back the same way. In a church that means a bad tile is fixed between services without dismantling the wall. Rear access works too when the screen is ground-stacked and the back is reachable.

3,840Hz refresh for cameras

Refresh rate is not a brightness number; it is what the camera sees. At 3,840Hz a phone recording the service, or a broadcast camera feeding a live stream, captures a clean image with no horizontal scan bars. Churches that stream every week should treat 3,840Hz as a minimum, not an upgrade.

One platform, indoor and outdoor versions

The indoor build runs IP30 with roughly 700–1,200 nit brightness. The outdoor build is IP65 with higher brightness for daylight. Both use 250×250mm modules and the same cabinet logic, which matters if your church runs an outdoor service or a summer festival and wants one spares pool and one training curve.

Where churches use it

Where Churches Actually Use 500×500mm Rental Panels

The most common configurations for a 500x500mm rental LED screen for church are a 4 m × 2 m landscape lyric wall (32 panels), a 6 m × 3 m stage backdrop (72 panels) and a 2 m × 3 m portrait side screen (24 panels). Mixed builds are normal: a wide backdrop with two portrait returns on the same locking system.

Because the cabinet is square, the same set builds a wide 16:9 wall on Sunday and a taller 4:3 backdrop for a conference without buying extra parts. That flexibility is the reason rental panels show up in churches that would never justify a bespoke fixed wall.

Technical data

Enova Series Specifications: 500×500mm Rental Cabinets

Values below are the published Enova platform figures for this 500x500mm rental LED screen for church family. Pixel pitch is the only row that changes the module, brightness and density; cabinet, module size and mechanics stay identical across pitches.

Parameter P1.95 P2.604 P2.976 P3.91 P4.81
Pixel Pitch 1.95 mm 2.604 mm 2.976 mm 3.91 mm 4.81 mm
Pixel Density 262,144 /m² 147,456 /m² 112,896 /m² 65,536 /m² 43,264 /m²
Brightness (indoor build) 800 nits 800 nits 1,200 nits 1,200 nits 1,200 nits
Brightness (outdoor build) — 4,500 nits 4,500 nits 4,500 nits 4,500 nits
Refresh Rate 3,840 Hz across all pitches
Cabinet Size (W×H×D) 500×500×87 mm
Cabinet Area / Weight 0.25 m² / 7.6 kg per cabinet, die-cast aluminium
Module Size / Layout 250×250 mm modules, 2×2 per cabinet, 8 magnets
Viewing Angle 140° horizontal / 120° vertical
IP Rating IP30 indoor / IP65 outdoor option IP30 / IP65 IP30 / IP65 IP30 / IP65 IP30 / IP65
Maintenance Front and rear service, module swap in about 2 minutes
Lifespan 100,000 hours

How to read these numbers. Brightness depends on the build you order (indoor panel or outdoor IP65 panel), so both rows are shown. Outdoor brightness is a panel rating, not a daylight guarantee — direct sun on the screen face will still wash out a 4,500-nit image. Final pitch-specific values are confirmed on the datasheet that ships with your quotation.

Selection

Which Pixel Pitch for Your Church Building?

Use the closest seat, not the room size. A P1.95 and a P4.81 panel look identical from 12 m away; the difference only shows at the front row. The table gives the minimum comfortable distance per pitch, using the common 1 mm pitch ≈ 1 m viewing rule for LED walls.

Pixel Pitch Comfortable From Typical Church Use Build
P1.95 about 2 m Small hall, front rows close to the screen, camera close-ups Indoor
P2.604 about 2.6 m Most sanctuaries with a 4–6 m screen width Indoor or outdoor
P2.976 about 3 m Mixed seating, balcony halls, value-focused sanctuary walls Indoor or outdoor
P3.91 about 4 m Large halls, outdoor services, festival stages Outdoor mainly
P4.81 about 5 m Open-air events, long-throw backdrops, budget builds Outdoor mainly

Budget logic

What Moves the Price of a Church Rental LED Screen

Four variables decide the number, and three of them are your choice. For a 500x500mm rental LED screen for church, none of them is a secret line item:

  • Area and pitch. Pitch sets the module density, so P1.95 costs more per square metre than P4.81. A 4 m × 2 m wall at P2.604 and a 6 m × 3 m wall at P3.91 are different products at different prices even though both are “a screen”.
  • Indoor or outdoor build. IP65 cabinets, sealed connectors and higher-brightness modules cost more than the indoor version of the same cabinet.
  • Cabinet count versus cabinet size. 500×500mm panels mean more locking points than a 500×1000mm panel for the same area. That is a cost and an installation-time trade-off, not a quality difference.
  • Control and rigging. Sending card, processor, flight cases, spare modules and hanging bars are usually quoted with the panels. Leaving them out makes a quote look cheaper and does not make the screen work.

We quote against your wall size, pitch, build and controls, and we send the panel count with the price so you can check the arithmetic. If the budget is tight, the honest lever is pitch and area — not removing spares.

Straight answers

When the Enova Series Is Not the Right Choice

  • You want this 500x500mm rental LED screen for church flush on a wall. An 87mm rental cabinet plus brackets will not sit flush. If wall-hugging is the requirement, look at the 20.6mm slim indoor LED video wall for church instead.
  • Your front row is under 2 m from the screen. No rental cabinet at P1.95 fixes that; you need a finer-pitch fixed panel.
  • You need a permanent architectural feature. Rental panels are designed to be moved, which means visible seams, locking hardware and no custom wall integration. A fixed wall is cheaper per square metre once it never moves.
  • The screen will live outdoors permanently. IP65 rental panels survive events; they are not a substitute for a purpose-built outdoor cabinet with the right thermal design for years of direct sun.

Which series fits

Enova 500×500mm vs Max 500×1000mm vs Metastar Stage Backdrop

Three rental options, three different jobs. This 500x500mm rental LED screen for church is the small-panel option in the middle of the range. Choose by how the screen will be used, not by which one appears first in a catalogue.

Series Cabinet Best for Choose when
Enova (this page) 500×500mm, 7.6 kg, 0.25 m² Portable and re-configurable church screens You rebuild the screen for different events and want the smallest, lightest panel
Max 500×1000mm, 14 kg, 0.5 m² Large stage builds and outdoor events You build big walls often and want half the locking points and faster assembly
Metastar 500×500 and 500×1000mm Rental stage backdrop platform You want a stage-backdrop look that also hires out to venues
PS slim 1000×250mm, 20.6 mm deep Flush wall-mounted lyric screens The screen must disappear into the wall with front-only service

Read the 500×1000mm church event LED screen if your builds are large or outdoor, the church stage backdrop page if the backdrop look matters and the screen will also be hired out, and the slim indoor wall if depth on the wall is the constraint. All rental and stage options sit under rental church LED screens.

After the order

Delivery, Spares and Support in Year Three

Rental screens leave the factory as a kit, not as a pile of panels. Each order is packed by wall: cabinets, quick locks, hanging or stacking bars, power and signal distribution, spare modules, spare receiving cards and the service tool, in flight cases that match the panel count.

  • Production and aging. Panels run a burn-in before packing, and the module batch is kept together so colour and brightness stay matched across the wall.
  • Spares ratio. We quote a spare module and spare receiving card allowance with the order rather than after the first failure.
  • Support. Remote diagnosis from a photo of the cabinet back and a NovaLCT screenshot resolves most first-year issues without shipping parts.

Buyer questions

Rental LED Screen for Church: Buyer Questions Answered

Q1How much does an LED church screen cost?

It depends on area, pitch and whether the build is indoor or outdoor. A 4 m × 2 m indoor P2.604 wall and a 6 m × 3 m outdoor P3.91 wall are different products. We quote with the panel count attached so you can verify the arithmetic instead of comparing a single brochure number.

Q2Is it cheaper to hire a screen or buy one?

Hire makes sense for a one-off event. If your church needs a screen more than about twice a year, owning panels usually wins over a few seasons, and the panels remain an asset you can lend or rent to other congregations.

Q3What is the best screen for a church?

The one that matches your closest seat distance and your building. For permanent lyric walls that means a fine-pitch fixed panel; for multi-use halls and events it means rental cabinets at P2.604 to P3.91 with 3,840Hz refresh.

Q4Can we install the panels ourselves?

Yes. 7.6 kg cabinets, quick locks and hardwired connections are designed for two-person installation without rigging crew. We send a build sequence and a cable map, and we review your first wall layout before shipment.

Q5Do you supply flight cases and spare modules?

Yes. Cases sized to the panel count, spare modules, spare receiving cards and the service tool are quoted with the screen. We recommend a spares allowance rather than ordering replacements after a failure.

Q6Will the screen flicker on camera during live stream?

At 3,840Hz refresh, no scan bars appear on phone or broadcast footage. Flicker in a stream usually comes from a camera shutter mismatch or a processor setting, not from the panel.

Q7Can the panels be used outdoors in rain?

The IP65 outdoor version can, with sealed connectors and correct cable management. The indoor IP30 version cannot. Decide the indoor and outdoor split before ordering, because they are different cabinets.

Q8What pixel pitch do we need for a 6 m viewing distance?

From 6 m, P2.976 or P3.91 both look clean; P2.604 buys margin if the front row is closer. Pitch is set by the closest viewer, not the furthest.

Q9How long does production take?

Standard production runs a few weeks depending on panel count and pitch, plus shipping. We confirm the schedule in writing with the order and flag any pitch that needs a longer lead time.

Q10Can the wall be curved?

The Enova platform supports 30° and 45° arcs, 90° corners and cylinder builds with the matching curve locks. Tell us the radius at quotation stage; curve hardware is a separate line item.

Q11What controller and software does it use?

The cabinets work with NovaStar, Colorlight and Linsn control systems. We quote a matched sending card and processor with the screen so the configuration file ships ready to load.

Q12What happens if a module fails in year two?

A module swap takes about two minutes with a suction tool from the front. With the spare allowance quoted at order time, the fix does not depend on an international shipment.
